My friend, you have awesome taste.

Thank you :) I'm very fond of the movie "Ed Wood" lately...what a wonderful autobiographical film about the worst director in the history of movies....a man so deep within his dreams of becoming big in Hollywood...that he ignored everyone to just reach his goal. His movies were terrible! Yet today, he has gained a fan base so incredible..."Plan 9 from Outer Space" is still rumored to get a remake/sequel

Lord Of The Rings
Star Wars
Pulp Fiction
Nightmare Before Cristmas
Chiago

I'm very happy to see Pulp Fiction in many of your list, it seems no one here, where I live, has heared of it.

Ed's movies were not terrible...and I would not call him the worst directer of all time either...but to each their own.

No no, that's what they were known as back then....but as I said "Yet today, he has gained a fan base so incredible"

Now his movies are cult classics..which I see, you have borrowed that name Doctor Ackula...;)

In fact, it's 'Plan 9's semi-official status as the Worst Film Ever Made that gives it its substantial cult following today.

I see your point and all...but way before Tim Burton made the bio pic of Ed...I loved his films for what they are..the man had vision...just no budget :(

But yah..most people like his films for their campiness..but there was really alot of artsy..almost avant garde shots in his films..poor Eddie just never had the cash to make his visions a reality. He was really a great director in my mind though..as far as the way he shot certain scenes..certain angles he used..the cheapness of the sets give his films a very surreal look and feel as well. And yeah, I took my online name from an Ed Wood reference.

exactly, Ed was always hurting for money, but his films do have a great look to them now, since in this day and age we appericate these films for what they are worth :)
