What's your favorite title screen music? Personally, I think the title screen music can define a game before you even play it. True, as opposed to the actual game it is trivial, but sometimes the music makes an impact.

My personal favorite is Civilization 4's title music, which is Baba Yetu. The effect on me was epic! Seeing the earth spinning through space peacefully while this music plays ignites feelings that are indescribable.

Well, I'm not on here as much anymore, so I figure while I'm here I'd bump a topic or two.

I always thought that the title screen of Final Fantasy 7 was great. I believe its the same music that they have used since the beginning (I may be wrong) and I also believed it was played on a xylophone, or something close to it, along with accompaniment later. Great song.

That's cool. I like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night intro music. Especially when heard with a 5.1 system. Just beautiful.
