FFCC: My Life as a King launches with WiiWare for only $15

A Square-Enix insider recently revealed that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (formerly The Little King and the Promised Land) would share a May 12th U.S. release date with the WiiWare service, joining Defend Your Castle and Major League Eating: The Game for the somewhat less than auspicious WiiWare launch lineup. The game will set you back 1,500 Wii points, or $15, if you prefer an actual monetary system.

We never thought we'd be hotly anticipating a Final Fantasy/Sim City mash-up, but when our other choices are limited to a once-free flash game that's been available online for nearly five years, or a game that crudely depicts the action-packed world of aggressive binge eating, the lesser of the three evils is abundantly clear.

I don't know much about this game at all, but for only $15, I won't mind trying it. Can anyone shed some light on this game?

"My Life as a King will feature additional downloadable content which includes extra dungeons, costumes, new buildings to construct and adventuring races to recruit. Additional content will be priced between 100 and 300 Wii Points.[5]"

oh yeah DLC content.. on a game that is downloaded to the console itself (so it's not just a secret thing that is unblocked on the CD).

That's awesome! And downloadable content for only $1 - $3? I'll definitely be checking that out.
 
I just got a lot of Wii points, and with what they are releasing on the VC I might still actually have 1500 by the time this game comes out. :lol But even if I don't, I will get more points so I can get this game. It looks really interesting.
 
The next games I'm downloading are either WiiWare(Four Player Wi-Fi Defend Your Castle? Hell yeah) or Earthbound(they'll do it;; ).
