FFXIV Online will be download only on the PS Network. No disc!

Hiromichi Tanaka from Square Enix mentioned that the PS3 MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV will probably not released on Blu-ray, instead the game will be available for download in PlayStation Network.

Square Enix revealed new info on its MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV, which will be released on PS3 and PC in 2010. Four races have been revealed:

* Hyruman - like Hume in FFXI, they speak many different languages
* Lalafell - like Tarutaru in FFXI
* Roegadyn - they live near the shores, with good physical strength and usually act as mercenaries or pirates
* Miqo'te - a race live in the cold and icey continents, they are mostly hunters

A couple of job classes have been revealed, including samurai, summoner, black mage, fencer, archer and paladin.
