My first impression of this game was RUBBISH! I have been a fan of the Fifa games for as long as i can remember but i think they have taken the wrong path with this game. I'm slowly getting in to it but theres small things that let it down like as far as i no there is no skill button, after all this time with the same buttons they have to go and change them now. WHY!!!!!!!!! The gameplay just isn't right, if u just slightly touch another player you bounce straight off them that gets a little frustrating. The menu buttons are different as well, might sound stupid but it gets right on my nerves. Apart from those little things its not so bad. I think they maybe trying to get it like pro evo which they really dont need to do. Anyway that's what i think at the moment, i might find out that there is a skill button and there is also a way to change the buttons back to the old way.

I'll give it 6/10

Ok so i have played it more and this game is so pathetic for a fifa game! I will give it it 1/10. The 1 is for the superb graphics everything else is completley poo. If it had these graphics and the gameplay from the fifa 07 on ps2 or pc this would no dout be the best football game ever made. There is no skill button, you cant control the players fully for eg: if someone passes you the ball you stand still and dont go to it. The other thing is the through balls are shocking. Dont buy it for 360!!!!
 
Here were my initial thoughts: "My roomate and I just picked this game up the other day. We were both Fifa World Cup freaks and had previously stayed away from the regular Fifa games cuz we never payed attention to the various soccer leagues, but this year we decided to give it a try. Anyway, the game is pretty fantastic, a definite step up from World Cup, and the online features are incredible, but it's gonna take awhile before I can shoot the ball with any kind of accuracy. Has anyone else had problems shooting the ball in this game? More than that, does anyone else play this game?"

However, since then this game has caused me nothing but frustration. The presentation of the game is absolutely fantastic, too bad the gameplay is crap.
 
buy fifa 07 for the pc, much better. It doesnt lag when you play online and the gameplay is great. Just the graphics are know way near as good as the 360 version.

Fifa 07 for 360 has great graphics and nothing else

Fifa 07 for pc has not so great graphics put the gameplay is awsome and playing online is great

im a little confused but if u mean like take control of a team for a number of seasons, buying and selling players ect then yeah it has that. Its now called manager mode.
 
Ok, I havent played Fifa since 2004-05 but I remember they had a season mode and a manager mode and they were different. Maybe they arent anymore. I dont know.

So I could choose AC Milan and play in the Serie A for a couple seasons ?
 
I bought Winning Eleven (for the Xbox, not the 360) and the gameplay is ridiculously better than Fifa's. The only problem with the game is the presentation. The animations are incredible, but the graphics, menus, commentating, music, sfx, lack of real team names, logos, and everything else relating to presentation that I forgot about suck. It really does take you out of the experience.

However, the gameplay is worth it. Fifa just doesn't compare. If only Konami could nail down more of the licensing, there would be no comparison in every other area.
 
i agree.

I never had that problem though because of the Action Replay. For 20 dollars I had every team correctly edited and I was in love!
That is why its my favorite game to this day.
 
yeah its sweet. you plug in and download a file from the internet. then 123 its done and you have every player, team, shoe....etc. up to date.

thats why its the best game imo. When i play it has better gameplay and equal appearance to fifa imo.
