First Computer Game

What was the first computer game you ever played?

I believe the first computer game I ever played was Aldo on DOS. I cant really remember if there was a game before it that I played.

I used to play Hardball 95 (a demo of a baseball game) on my grandpas computer, along with C&C Red Alert, those were the main ones.

To tell you the truth, I have no idea. I've been playing games literally my entire life, so ever since I can remember I was playing them. My dad used to have a computer business, so there were always computers and games around the house.

Oregon Trail on the old Macintosh. Ah the memories.

DooM 2. Easily one of the few games that stands the test of time.

My first real game was probably Oregon Trail. God I loved that game. Me and my friends actually smartned up about hunting too. Only shoot one bull/bear/deer. It saves ammo. :lol

i just remember playing simple games like missile command and centipede

but the first game i really played was starcraft

i never got into the computer gaming until later now I'm really into it

Monster Maddness on Win 95

My 1st PC game on a 286 (do you all even know what they were? :lol ... many of you weren't even born yet... man I sound old).... was digger and another game called hard hat.
Captain Cosmic and the  original Duke Nukem games came after that. yes, these were all on Dos :lol

My Favorite Dos game = Crusader no Remorse and No Regret. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME GAMES! If you have a system to try them on.... these games WILL NOT DISAPPOINT! Some of the best gaming ever made.

from there... *a few years later* I played the Police Quest / Hero's Quest / King's Quest games.
around 1990-91... I started on the Doom Demo   and let me say... that was awesome.... I was playing the demo on a 386... slow 33 mhz system.

in 1994 we got a Pentium 90.... 16 meg of ram, 1 gig hard drive.... that was a killer system for the day.  I got doom 2.... and my life was lost :lol
I played on Dwango non-stop....  Most of you will never know what Dwango was.  I was a Doom 1 / 2 fiend... playing all the time.. making my own levels...etc..  In fact, I beat one of the best on the Chicago Dwango server.  Alas.. sometime in 95-96 Dwango died   :'( :'(  Out of business.  I should post up some of my levels for you all to try   Heck.. I spent over 100 hours on 1... and its not even done.

and the rest is history.
