forgotten worlds - Genesis problem

ok.. I found the solution.. and its an odd one.
well... it seems that this game does not work with the 6 button controller... only the 3 button.
I tested it on an old genesis (with 3 button) and it worked when I got the game in. It didn't work when a customer returned it to me..... that is when I tested it on my nomad because I sold the genesis and didn't have it in stock anymore.
Well.... the Nomad has a 6 button config as well..
SO... if you want to play forgotten worlds.... use a 3 button controller

Actually, you simply forgot to change the pad's mode.
Hold down the "Mode" switch (located on the top right of the pad... it's almost like a shoulder button) as you turn the system on. This switches the pad into 3 button mode. Forgotten Worlds will play fine.
The same thing applies to the Nomad. The Mode switch is located to the left of the Start button, below the screen. Simply hold the button down as you switch the system on to access 3-button format.
