Forums Upgraded - Templates may not work - report errors here

ok... I am upgrading the forums soon... and it's a big upgrade.

I apologize... but some of our templates may not work till I get them converted. I am also working to get more templates up for the future... some will be standard ones that I can get for free... others will be ones that we create.

I just wanted to inform everyone in case the templates are messed when I am done. This will be done in the next 3 days.

EDIT: By the way.... With the new forum upgrade... there is a new SMF Default Template (babylon or forum default is the original Theme we had for the overall look). the SMF default Theme is rather cool... and I just got FlashChat integrated with it.

We will be uploading more themes in the future.

There are different styles of backgrounds offered for this forum.

And how do you access that, I have been here for so long and never knew that, I feel like such a noob.

usually sigs are annoying anyway. having a bigger profile would remedy that though. that way if people want to know more about you they still can.

if they are annoying, then we should have the option to make them invisible, but still be available for those users who would like one.

Ok, the sigs thing has been brought up several times...It's NOT going to happen...we'd have even more spammers than we do now, and one hit wonders with people parading another site around and stuff like that in their sigs. It'd also bog down the site.

Yeah sigs suck. The only cool thing about them is they have the ability to showcase a user's photoshop and art skills. Other than that they tend to get way out of hand.

Everyone won't see the effects of the upgrades for a bit... it optimizes a lot more.. better loads (aren't an issue now)... more secure... should be more features coming... We're working on a lot of things... and hopefully by years end, we can get the site tied together more.

We'll have to see. I need more help though... ::D

PLEASE report any errors here...
By errors... I mean images that do not work... etc. The menu bar I see is messed ::D UGH... Looks like I have work to do in the am. :lol
Links... information..etc.. that are missing... please report what you do not see that used to be there :)

ok. I will be double checking that all... and probably having to remake templates soon to be more compatible with the new version.
