Fruity Loops Song

Superman

The Wheel is Turning, But the Hamster is Dead
So, I was playing around with Fruity Loops, dunno if any of you have heard of it. Anyway, made a song (work in progress) but for our purposes, it could be considered done with a beginning middle and end. I didn't have it here to upload it anywhere (and I won't do it at home where dial-up sucks).

I'll try to get it uploaded somewhere for people to listen to if they want. Otherwise, PM me and I'll get it to you somehow.

Hey there. How do you like fruity loops? I have tried Acid which was ok but now I use the open source program "Audacity", which I really like. Making music is so addicting huh? Well, you bet I'd like to hear your song, so shoot me a pm :) I will have one for you too shortly here.

Fruity Loops is great, but supremely complex to use. You could have a 3 year course on it in school for it and still not learn it all. I've learned a lot just from fiddling and whatever, but what I made is extremely basic compared to the capabilities of the program.

I used Acid too (Fruity Loops can actually export your song "ACIDized" meaning it can go right into Acid no problem). It was fun to work with, but felt it was a little too limited only using samples. But with Fruity Loops and Acid combined, I bet some people could make cool stuff. On the other hand, the way FL is set up, you can pretty much do what Acid does, save for importing files to use.

I actually have a few Acid songs, most half completed cuz I just couldn't figure out where to go from there. Maybe I'll upload those too.

I loaded this onto Newgrounds, though I doubt it'll be there long. Anyone know a good site to load some files for people to get them?

--Edit--

Ok, I found a site. Dunno how good it is, but it should work. Anyway, you can download the song here:

Im just going to start using Fruity Loops, i have tried it round a mated and found it hard to get used to but im going to give it another crack. Is there anywhere i can download some sounds?

Merry Christmas All

You can just search for them in any search engine, or I could post the links here.

Fruity Loops: http://www.flstudio.com/

Acid: http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/products/showproduct.asp?pid=1005

Both have free trials (which offer more than enough to start making music) but cost more than a pretty penny to get the full version. I think with Fruity Loops there's like 4 or 5 different levels to buy, from Basic to XXL Pro Producer Edition. Best to stick with the free trials unless you're an expert. Both sites also offer samples to download, but I'm not sure if you have to buy them seperately or if you just have to buy the software.

Hope that helps.
