You know... they really are cool. Even though the GBA connectivity is gimmicky... it is cool to have the ability to check sticky cameras with the GBA...
PLus there are exclusivities.... IE in SC2, there were a few new missions.
The new Chaos Theory has been rumored to have a Gamecube exclusive stealth kill mode
I mean.... at least they are trying to distinguish the Gamecube version among the 3 versions of the game.
Anyone else appreciate that? Even though there is no online play, there is still 2 player split screen.
I appreciate it when companies do this... and they have my respect. Not just throwing out identical copies of games, but giving each their uniqueness.
NOW... they said the Gamecube version was a port of the Ps2 version (as they had graphics overhauls). IMO thats a waste of time... at least port it from the Xbox. I mean.... the Gamecube can handle it. I don't get why people are porting Ps2 to Gamecube.... If anything it should be Gamecube to PS2.... it makes no sense.....
You don't port from the older system to the newer system on newer games. Older sequals or rehashes (from a past system generation)...yes.... but not newer games.

Source: http://cube.ign.com/articles/585/585093p1.htmlThe GameCube port will include a two-player cooperative mode, Ubisoft confirmed. The action will take place split-screen. There is no online feature in the version.
There are two exclusive features in Chaos Theory for GameCube. The first is an all-new stealth kill move. Fisher can in the GCN build "quickly strike from the water and pull enemies to a watery grave." The other is a carryover from previous versions: GameCube-to-Game Boy Advance functionality. When gamers connect their GBA to the GCN by way of the link cable, they can monitor sticky cameras and check positions in the 3D map from the safety of the shadows.
