Games of 2007

In Nintendo's 2007 Mission Statement they stated that the following games will come out in 2007 in Japan, however they stated the these game should also be out in the U.S. in 2007.

Dairantou Smash Brothers X (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)
Disaster: Day of Crisis
Donkey Kong Taru Jet Race (DK Bongo Blast)
Doubutsu no Mori [Animal Crossing]
Forever Blue
Hoshi no Kirby (Kirby Adventure)
Mario Party 8
Mario Strikers Charged
Project H.A.M.M.E.R.
Super Mario Galaxy
Totsugeki Famicom Wars (Battalion Wars II)
Wii Health Pack
Wii Music

14 first party games. And the funny thing is that these games wont come out until after April, leaving only 8 months for 14 games. Hopefully a large amount of these games come out in 2007.

I don't think Animal Crossing will be out this year. Nintendo has three big guns already planned with Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros Brawl, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Four big franchise games in one year might be overkill for the other consoles. XD!

Nah, trying to compare Metroid Prime 3 to other 1st person shooters for other consoles is rediculous. :lol

This is a really nice line up though. :)

Yea strubes if you are comparing graphics, but if your comparing controls, Wii wins hands down, and when it comes to the story, that could be won my any of the big 3

Not jus controls. graphics and game play combined are what makes a first person shooter. It's not like the Wii's gonna pop out some new control scheme. Lol you point at the screen and shoot...I wonder what you'll do with EVERY Wii first person shooter. haha

Metroid's an adventure FPS, so it'll probably be more than point and shoot. Man, Metroid's the only FPS game I can tolerate, great storylines too.

But the wii controls, compared to 360 controls are completly different!

Well yea...lol some kinda motion sensing thingy. It's already getting really old to me though. I hope they'll figure out a way to make the Wii fun years down the road.

a creative control scheme isn't going to help metroid blow every new FPS out of the water but it will help the Wii's game library a bit

I don't think that list is very impressive. I think the Wii had so much more potential than Nintendo is allowing it to do. It seems the novelty of a motion sensor hasn't worn off, making it a gimmick rather than a routine controller. I'd like to see less of that.
