I'm looking forward to getting a 360 first.

My roommate keeps telling me not to, as he thinks that I'll never go to class and just play the 360 all day. He doesn't realize that, unlike >98% of the campus, I'm capable of self-control. He also thinks it's a waste of money.
 
I agree with your roommate, you are better off playing the least ammount of video games possible when you are in college. It will keep your grades higher, and you will get out more.
 
:lol At first all i did was play on my 360 for like 2 weeks, im in control now though! Iv just had two weeks off work and havent played it all that much. You could just wait until the price drops, think it will when the PS3 comes out but not sure.

I have a fully capable gaming computer, and I still get out and do fun stuff all the time. I would mostly play the 360 over the weekend, when >98% of the campus is out drinking. I would much rather play video games than get smashed. There's more of a future in it.

More then enough games to keep me busy until the PS3 is a lot cheaper. Heck, I don't know if I'll really care about MGS4 and FFXIII once I get my hands on these games.

Saints Row is up in the air. It is out already, but I'm cashless since quitting my job. Its so fun to play, but...

Well, the Half Life 2 pack is awfully tempting, but Team Fortress 2 isn't for me (I don't care if its the best game ever made the visual style SUCKS). Portal will be fun, and of course HL2 plus Episodes 1 and 2. I could upgrade my computer, buy Portal, 1 and 2 off of Steam and have a better experience overall, with mods and such.

AC looks really cool, but I haven't looked into it much yet.

Bioshock looks amazing. Looks fun and has great graphics.

NG2 is announced? I wasn't paying attention.

Mass Effect is going to rock, but it seems like a game that would overwhelm me in scope and I wouldn't play it much.

Too Human looks sweet too, but I don't think it is worth a buy.

Fable 2 will own hardcore if they LISTEN to what the fans want.

*I keep going back and forth whether I should get the new Splinter Cell: DA Game.  I figure I can wait since I will be busy with GOW and COD3.
