I was very happy that Enigma's friend didn't pay the ultimate price for her actions,and yes I'm not her parent,and in no way am I judging her,but she took that many pills for only 1 of 2 reasons,and neither reason is good.And I'm not just talking trash,I know from experience.I made a small list of medication that you can get over the counter without a prescription because there just too many prescription pills to fit here,but just because some of the one's I'm about too show you aren't,that doesn't mean they're not just as lethal if abused.
1. "Gravol"or "Dramamine"(Motion Sickness Medication)
2. "Tylenol 1" (Aspirin or Acetominiphen Combined With 10mg.Codeine(Higher Doses Of Codeine Require A Prescription),and Caffeine.
3. "Most cold and flu medication such as: Tylenol Cold
NyQuill
Advil Cold&Sinus
Cough Syrup Mixtures such as Benylin,which combine Pseudophedrine,Dextromethorphan
Nytol,Sominex,Sleep-Eze(Used as a sleeping Agent)
Neo-Citran
Sudafed
A lot allergy medications that contain chlorominophiniramine
Caffeine Pills believe it or not
Obviously I haven't got space to mention all of them,but a great deal of over the counter cough and flu remedies can prove lethal.Where I live,when department stores such as Wal Mart that contain Pharmacies,on Sundays even though the Wal Mart shopping area itself is open,the pharmacy section is closed.When it's closed they lock up the prescription pills are obviously locked away,but so are about 90% of the cold and flu remedies are as well.There is a reason for this.While the pharmacy is open the pharmacist and their technicians can keep an eye on people buying these cold and flu remedies and if they feel that someone is abusing these by seeing them come in ten million times a week buying these same medications,they can by law refuse to sell them to the individual.
Again,as my post title states,"Some Don't Know,And Some Don't care",I thought I'd just post anyway,take it for what it's worth.
