Gradius Collection... Are scores supposed to save?

Are they supposed to save? Do I need to manuall save the data or something?

I've played a few times, but the scores didn't save from the times I played. It's not THAT big of a deal... but you'd figure they would with a memory card and all... that, and most games today save scores.

Make sure you turn on Autosave under the options for each game.

i heard this game got some pretty good reviews. What's it like? Is it just a selection of like, old arcade shooter type games basically or what?

you get:

Gradius     (Arcade)
Gradius 2  (Arcade)
Gradius 3  (Arcade)
Gradius 4  (Arcade)
Gradius Gaiden  (PSX)

Jukebox featuring the music from every game
Videos from the PSX and PS2 gradius Disks.
Any of the games can be played with different options such as original, tweaked, Original Pixel, Streatched Pixels. You can even choose the hit size of your plane.
