You know, the guy who did the Lord of the Rings trilogy?? Yeah, that guy!

But what really knocks us on our asses is we’re also getting the combined talent of the mighty men and women of WETA in the bargain. From fabricating Covenant weapons to building life-sized Forerunner structures to accomplishing shot after shot of complex live-action/CG integration – simply put, there’s no group of people we’d rather have realize the Halo universe on screen.

As long as they get the right actors, this movie now has the potential to be really really really awesome!! :D
 
Wow, for once I must say I am excited about a video game movie. I'll wait until I see King Kong, just to see how Peter handles something other than Hobbits, but I'll go to sleep happy tonight.

I liked Starship Troopers. It was really funny.

Yes Peter Jackson made some good movies out of the Lord of the Rings, but Im not to confident in him making a good video game movie.

He is the executive producer, and the main thing he is contributing to the movie is special effects. CGI stuff. WETA is the company doing it, I guess Jackson is in charge there or something.

Oh ok. I thought he was going to direct, my mistake. Actually he's probably directing just the special effects since Lord of the Rings was done so well. I know that he isnt in charge of a special effects house. I dont feel like reading right now, so ill check the link later.
