it didnt SUCK, its just that $50 is a lot to ask for only 30 new songs, many of which you will never play again.

Yes one of the worst set lists I've ever seen. I mean seriously, it's the '80's. SOOO MUCH more guitar oriented music they could have chosen. It's possible that they couldn't acquire them because of licensing issues, but that should have just made them not release the game. They should have just put more focus on GHIII which isn't so great itself.

Harmonix did Encore, Red Octane did III. They couldn't have focused on III very long before being bought out.

But Activision did publish Encore. Since Activision was already poised to publish three they should have just used their resources for that rather than Encore.
