Can you use the GHII xplorer controller with GHIII? The new controller looks awesome but i don't wanna spend another $100 on something i don't need.

It would be another $20 or however much the overpriced shell is, since he kinda has to get the game to play GHIII.

i know you can buy the game seperately.. why else would i be asking if i can still use my guitar hero 2 controller. where i want have to buy the new controller with the game.
 
well why would they sell the game separately if it didnt work with other guitars!
