I Saw it and it look awesome so I wanted to hear what some people thought of it and how well the guitar controller works.

I bought it for myself for Christmas, so I haven't played it yet. It's sitting under the tree. But everyone I know who has played it (which is about 3 of my coworkers) raves about it. :) I'll let you know after Christmas when I play it.

Ive been wanting this game so bad. Ive played it and it is killer. I love the fact that they include a guitar controller with it. It's also one of my favorite games of '05.
 
Apologies for the double post, but I finally got a chance to play Guitar Hero, and I have to say that it is really cool! The song selection is pretty good and using the guitar peripheral is fun.

I would definitely recommend this game to people. :)

:lol no. It's just a fake controller type guitar. There is no way they are going to put time into an actual guitar replica. Plus that would require a lot more skill than most people have rendering it useless almost.
 
This is quite possibly the most embarrasing game ever, when you're in public.
If you're drunk, or in private, It's hella fun!

NOTE: I've never been drunk in my life, so I can't really make an accurate statement.
 
This definatley sounds like a game for me then.

I tried a demo of it at the store and someone told me I looked like an idiot...My pride aside it's a pretty cool game

my buddy and i went out and he bought one for his PS2 (we were at best buy and they had a demo version out there).........this is the one game that i wish i had a PS2 for......i played it one time and i loved it! i wish there was an xbox version (or if there is, please tell me  :lol).......i havent touched it since he got it (he probably wouldnt lemme play even if i wanted to).......but its a great game!
 
Well, Activision bought out Harmonix, so there's a pretty good chance that the next Guitar Hero game will eventually come out on the XBOX 360 as well.
