Halo 1.04 - No out-of-map?

I figured I'd play Halo today with a friend on the PC, and I just realized there's no way to get out of ANY level!?! That's rediculous. I loved it when I could go out while I was stunting and whatnot. Now it just sucks...
 
somehow... just somehow I never saw this before.....

I am curious.... was this ever fixed? I never had a problem with it.

he just meant it was fun to get out of the levels and play around.......but apparently they patched it so you couldnt do it (probably because of cheaters who would find great sniper areas)
 
I'm pretty sure out-of-map was never in PC, or at least not the same ways as in the Xbox version. I KNOW the demo had no out of map, I figured the rest would be sealed up too.
