Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
Oh yeah, the father of pretty much every fantasy we could think of in the 20th century...

I thought he was still alive at first, and my first thought after that was that he must be one of the last of the line of Isildur, blessed with the gift of long life. I'm not sure what to feel, pride or shame. :lol

Definitely pride. The Numenoreans were the greatest race to ever set foot on Middle-Earth. They were more powerful than the Elves, so much so that they managed to capture and subdue Sauron. It was their pride (and Sauron's trickery) that ultimately became their downfall, but aside from that they were the only mortal race to even conceive of setting foot on the Undying Lands, and they very nearly did it.

... on second thought, there may be a little room for shame.

Still, Tolkien, u da man.

Just got through reading the Lord of the Rings during the Christmas Holidays! Love the books. Even though the movies are good, they do not compare to finding a dark spot in the corner of the house, camping out there and reading the books. ::D
