Harvest Moon - Another Wonderful Life?

I just noticed this in the release list for this week.

What is this game? just a sequel? Or does anyone know? WIll it be good?

If you don't already know this, then I'll tell you.

Harvest Moon always has the main character be a male. Part of the game's goal is to get a wife in the game.

The new one, "Another Wonderful Life" merely switches the roles. The main character would now be a female, and would be courting males.

Same game, slightly different characters.
 
Yeah, I heard it was focused on a female character this time around.

I believe most of, if not all of the Harvets Moon games have a female counterpart type to make the company not seem sexist.
 
BV, it's the same game, its just meant for the female population. The original Harvest Moon's focus on a male character. The extra ones that come out later are meant for females, it's really simple.
 
OK... how does this work? can you have a kid? and if you can it takes 9 months so...??? i don't understand..

I know its simple... but they should have released the boy / girl versions at the same time if nothing is different.. you know ?

I have it for Christmas. In this Harvest Moon you can now:
  -Change your outfit
  -Get married to Gustafe (however u spell his name), Rock, or Marlin
  -you can teach your dog tricks
  -your pasture should look a little different
  -I think you can get more animals
I'm pretty sure there are some more features but I haven't played it yet (i looked on the internet). Other than that, yea it's the same thing. :)
