Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
So I found this game today at wal-mart for a mere $10.00
It's like Zelda (2D), with shooter elements like contra (power ups to make stronger guns), and beautiful 2D sprites.
UFO (Famous for many schump ports like Castle Shikigami) and Star Fish (i honestly never heard of this game company) created and produced this title.
Unique gameplay, but sadly the game does not support widescreen mode. Regardless, this game is quite retro with the Zelda feel with similar health meter.
You play as a Snow Goddess who's apparently a hermit, she falls in love with a common boy. The boy soon falls under a curse and the Sayuki Goddess must save the boy whom she loves all of a sudden!
However, evil spirits say, "Nope, sorry, we can't let you do that Sayuki, the Snow Goddess!"
Yet determined with the help of her pet snow bunny, Toto. Whom acts as the cursor for where to aim for you. She seeks the truth and the cure to save the boy.
