Help! I'm Drowning In "Date Sites" Take 2

Happy Holidays!

I figured I'd give this post another stab.My brother was using "Singlesnet.com" and E-Harmony.com.

He longer uses these sites and he can't remember his Username or Password.I was thinking that if I made some adjustments on my E-mail settings I could block these sites,but I do not know how to do this without it affecting my mail.For the sake of all holiness,please help!

This is a good idea. I've actually heard that some sites honor the "opt out" links. Ie you click the link and your email address is removed. I used to be paranoid about this... but I tried opting opt everytime (hell... spam couldn't get much worse than it was)... and it actually worked to an extent. I still get spam... but about 1/4th of what I used to.

Yeah, that's hit or miss. Some of the companies will stop sending stuff if you opt-out, but others will just see that your email address is valid and continue spamming.
