Holy Crap! FFVII!

So I was just chatting with my friend about how much I wanted to play FFVII, and he goes "Oh I have it". So I asked if I could borrow it, and he said he didn't have time for it, so I could just have it. Sure as heck, these are original, near-mint condition discs. Not the newer blue-backed ones. All for free, instead of paying $60 - $120 online. Amazing. I've never really played much of VII so now's my chance. :D
 
I remember when I bought it back in September of 1997. I recieved it in the mail on Sept 13th, 1997. Paid $49.99 for it. One time, FF7 was going for $19.99 as a GH game...but then the hurricane of fanboiz came....back in summer of 2005....then the value jumped up higher than an NBA player on steroids....those were the days.....

I have four original copies of ffvii

one is opened and the *case is cracked while the discs are in mint condition.

The other three are all unopened.

Also I have two greatest hits versions...I think I'm the biggest nerd of this round.

three original ff8's...one gh...one original is open...

Uhhh...yeh. I think I am the big nerd.
 
So, he hasn't been on ebay recently eh?

I would keep the thing, and keep it in good condition. I can see that thing being worth quite a more than it is now, in the future.
 
wow u people r stingy. strubes has a good job he doesnt need to scrounge for money on ebay. strubes, keep the game and play it, enjoy it.

it is a game afterall
 
Heh, funnily enough, when I first got FF VII, I had NO idea what the game was about. There was nothing aside from some screenshots and words of praise on the back.

I didn't even know it was an RPG, let alone know what the Final Fantasy series was at the time, nor the hype that sorrouned it. One could say I was pleasantly surprised.
