I voted PM. I mean, just because people do not respond to your threads doesn't mean they don't like you, and people are always coming and going from chat, so neither of those things should be taken personally.

Yeah I wouldn't worry too much about trying to determine who may or may not like you on a message board. Its not a popularity contest, just post the way you want and let the chips fall where they may.

Hmmm, I did not vote, but I can see how ANY of those things would make a person feel unliked...whether or not they were liked.

Replies to posts could be few if the topic was not interesting to people, er if people were not around etc...lots of reasons for that.

As to leaving chat...if everyone left chat as soon as I entered every time I would certainly think it meant something...but people tend to leave chat in groups it seems, so if it happened every so often I doubt it means anything.

People sending malicious or hurtful messages er emails does sound like they have an issue tho..tho, I have had a few people send emails that I disliked dif places on the web....and there turned out to be other reasons for the message...and not me personally.

The easy way to find out is just to ask the person straight out if they dislike you.

But...I would advise to just try to relax and not worry over it so much. Just be you and enjoy who you are.

It Depends too... you may be catching them at a time in which they are pre-occupied or extremely busy.

Sometimes that can translate into "looking like" the cold shoulder.
