I did it! I Can't believe I finished Final Fantasy 1!

MegaDrive20XX

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
After so many YEARS of ignoring this game, I finally sat down and finished the very first Final Fantasy tonight on my GBA.

I'm not even that big on RPG's these days...but I was SO determined to finally put the mystery of the original to rest. To find out what was it, that made FINAL FANTASY what it is today.

"It seemed that the cycle of time, was lost forever....but the bravery of the travelers had changed that, to bring peace to the world of light."

As the ending puts it. Yeah, I agree with that statement. Yet is it truly lost forever? The cycle of time that is, because here was a game that was a near DEATH of a company, by naming it's final game, "Final". However, whoever wrote the script and concerpt for the game, probably felt he wasn't ready to die off from the game industry in that holiday season of 87'..

I felt really good after this. Pretty damn proud of myself, I haven't finished a Final Fantasy game since I played part 4 on PSX (FF Chronicles) back in 2002 I think.

So what's next for MD20XX? Why, the only thing you can do on the GBA version...FINAL FANTASY II! The Fight must go on! :D

It's too bad that Squeenix "likes to gouge their customers with 20 year old games." Right Stealth? :)

That's cool Mega! So was the ending worth it?

@ Ross .... :lol .... your eyes were damaged by the colors?

Well I just remember it being so hideous on the NES. Especially when the screen color cycled.
