I have a question for some photoshop experts

Or anyone with any experience in graphic design.

Anyway, my gf really really wants a Surf Blue GBA SP. They were (as far as I know) exclusive to Best Buy. Our local BB is sold out, and there's no listing on BB's website. So...I'm looking at ebay.

And I'm wondering, is this pic photoshopped?



It kind of looks to me like it's just the box for the cobalt SP and they played around with it to make it look surf blue. And they only have 47 feedbacks and only at 96%.

Why I'm curious is because I saw in another bid that the Surf Blue box also looks like this:



That person has better feedback but the pic still seems a bit off.

I think I'll have to see if Nintendo sells them directly, or find some more Best Buys. I'm not too sure about either of those ebay sales.

It looks like it is... totally. You can see the blurring around some of the words and a couple other mistakes. Though I'm not an expert.

well... if they scaled the image quality down... it can do that as well.

I can try to take a look at it... I can tell sometimes on these things.

I'm going to ask my Cousin to take a look at it, shes the best you can get with stuff like that.

do they throw multiple types of boxart out? and does nintendo not have a box to look at on their site?

btw.. that 1st pic is not of a surf blue GBA


That is just the normal blue box.


SO, becareful of what you are buying because those people might just be calling it surf blue.
