Hi everyone, I'm in a very difficult position in Skies of Arcadia at the moment that I can't get out of.
Basically, I've just finished the Lost City of Rixis. I defeated the giant bird boss thing, which was fine. In doing so, however, I used up a lot of magic points and didn't have any magic drops to spare after the battle had finished. So the next part is fighting De Loco's Chameleon ship. I managed to defeat him, JUST BARELY. When I started the battle, I only had a few magic points so used sacres to heal it at every opportunity. The ship was already on low health before the battle started as I'd forgotten to heal it after the last battle (health meter is about halfway). So, after taking some serious punishment and using up ALL my magic points, I defeated the Chameleon, which was great. However, with no magic points left and my ship almost destroyed, the health meter almost at zero, I then have to go on and battle the green giga in this state, without a chance to regenerate my health or get magic points inbetween. Of course, I didn't last two rounds.
Since I saved after the battle at rixis with the giant bird thing, I can't turn around and go back to Horteka (or whatever it's called) and get magic points, as the game doesn't let you. So basically, I'm stuck fighting these two battles, the Chameleon and the green giga, without a hope in hell of getting past it. (Starting the game again isn't an option, not after coming this far).
I can't use increm because i need to save my magic points for sacri, and the harpoon cannon only takes off 8000. I've tried every tactic I can think of to try and beat the chameleon with my health meter high enough to survive against the green giga, but it just isn't happening. I've no idea what to do now
