Another topic saying how we shouldn't critique the PS3 yet. I smell a flame war on the horizon.

Besides your 'early Wii game' being moot, as it's a made for GCN title, the current Wii games don't need high poly counts, they need to look cool and fun, which Galaxy does. Look at Corruption, GameInformer said it looked great and didn't think that it deserved 'for the Wii' at the end of saying it.

How everyone always says 'It's good looking for the Wii'? I'll get the quote...ah, ok.
Game Informer said:
Corruption's most impressive feat, however, may be its graphics. It is certainly a tall order to expect any Wii game to compete graphically against the big boys on more powerful systems, but Retro Studios' art team has done a masterful job with Corruption. The few levels we witnessed were gorgeous, and we don't even feel the need to quilify that with "for a Wii game".

Did I say it did, and must you turn everything into a topic about the Wii?

These PS3 topics bring it upon themselves. This topic is basically a duplicate of Mai's topic in General. Don't judge PS3 yet. Yes, we know that. Don't need to make a topic for the sake of attracting fhqwhgads.

I don't, it's natural. All you guys say are, "Don't judge the PS3 so easily, it's still great", but you do the exact same thing to the Wii by saying ''it's for little kids'', or ''it's got no good games'', or ''it's dumb 'cause I don't like trying new things''. You're a bunch of hypocrites.

EDIT: Just realized, it was Hines who made this into a Wii topic, not me.

We're not making a topic to attract fhqwgads. Boom decided to make a topic about the PS3 in the PS3 section. Oh my god we must be trying to piss fhq off by making a topic about the PS3 on the PS3 board.

Why does everyone think I'm anti Sony? I have two PS2's and plan on getting a PS3 if it *ever* gets games and comes down below $200. At this rate, though, you guys are all happy with Sony making sure it never goes below $600, though, right?

It's the topic of this thread, Cherry. We've all heard it a million times. "Don't judge PS3 yet", "Quit mocking PS3, it's brand new", "PS3 is just having a slow start". Do we honestly need a topic further clarifying the PS3 goers opinions?

Apparently, we do, 'cause no matter what Sony seems to do with the PS3, the fanboys still think that it's not true. Face it, Wii's almost in double digit millions sold, PS3 has yet to hit five million. Who really gives a damn if it comes in third in the console war? What will it change? Won't that insprie the few still loyal developers to make some really god games?

I still have absolutely no reason why you started arguing about the Wii fhq. Hines posted pics to compare the Wii's graphical improvements to the PS3's, and for some reason, you assumed that you could go and argue about the Wii, just like you are in the other 10 threads.

So, why exactly did we need th Wii pics at all, though?
Because Hines wanted to show a parallel between the PS2's improvements in graphics, to that which the Wii is currently experiencing. And in the end, the point he was trying to prove (at least I think) was that the improvement is universal throughout all companies and consoles...
