I'm thinking about buying a PS3, but i can't afford the 80GB. The most GB's I can get is 60. what does the 60GB lack that the 80GB has? My friend said some of them don't play ps2 games but he doesn't know which ones. I'd really apprieciate it if someone could help me out. :)

80GB comes with a game MotorStorm and play ps2 games via Software Emulation
60GB no game but plays ps2 games via Hardware Emotion Engine like the one on the PS2 system

Well he might be able to get one for that much if he goes with a japanese PS3 since they are cheaper and PS3's arent region specific.

If you're paying $250, it's either a scam, or you're going to lose the bid.

no? which is why i own one and play it often, i guess?
Few months ago, you were ripping on it because you 'turned it on twice over the last year'. Or something.

nope, well maybe i said something like that, but with metroid prime 3, RE4, zelda, and super mario galaxy, I'm certainly not complaining

The local target is blowing out the 40 gig PS3 for I think it was $299. I guess they think it's a good deal...

Not with that small of a library. :/ Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank don't justify that much money.

Dude, there's no way you're gonna be able to find a 60gb PS3, new. The lowest price you'll probably get will be $450.
The one I'm specifically looking at is used, and is missing power cord. Current bid $219. I've found a power cord for $18.99 at Radio Shack. Even though it's used it looks new. the easiest way to get one is to get one missing parts, then buy the parts.
