Is It True That...

BioShocker!
The PS3's graphics processor (or whatever, I'm not very technically minded) has been capped, meaning that it's actually impossible for it to produce better graphics than the 360's? I've heard this from many sources, particularly my absolute computer geek, hacker boy of a friend. So, is it so?

I don't think so. If it has, I haven't heard it, although I don't think its very likely because I get the feeling the 360's processor, being less powerful, would be "capped (whatever the hell that means, lol)" faster. Not only that, but a lot of what factors in to graphics is how the developers produce them, so even if it has been, its still possible for developers to make better graphics, as they get more efficient at it.

Idk much about this though. Maybe someone with a little more knowledge about this stuff could clear this up.

Apparently, the graphics power has been limited so more power can be diverted, or whatever, to memory. Seeing as some 360 graphics are near lifelike anyway though, I don't see how this is much of a problem if the PS3 can only equal them.

Well, then it pretty much makes the PS3 a more expensive 360.

From what my friend told me, he read in an article that it's a old graphics processor, not capped. If I can I'll try to get the full details.
