Hello gamers!

I think I screwed up this post briefly so I will correct it now.(Thank you for your patients)I was given a printer for Christmas, and it started acting up,big time.I called the Tech Support line of the company that produced this printer for help. After trying a few different things, there was no luck. She asked me for my permission to take brief control of my computer.(I think it's called "Remote" help or something?).

After I did, I could see on the monitor the cursor moving all around, clicking on this and that, almost like a Ghost was using my computer.Anyway it helped, but if my permission is the only thing in the way, what's to stop someone else out there from taking control of my computer in the same manner and messing it all up?

God bless,

I hate to break it to you but if someone wants into your computer bad enough they will. It doesn't take much know how to do it. There are a lot of things that can give them easier access to your computer. It's your job to make it as hard as you can for someone to get it. Pretty much make it not worth the time.

Knowing that someone can rape your computer at their leisure, that's a helpless feeling of the greatest magnitude.

Which is why you should always apply a firewall or use a router. Like Polygon said, if someone really wants to then they'll break in, at least a firewall/router will make it harder for those who aren't so experienced in hacking.
