Killzone 2 elite difficulty

Anyone attempt to beat KZ2 on elite. If you haven't, be prepared to pull your hair out and toss a few controllers.(probably more) I'm on the part in the refinery where you must fight through all the sentry bots to get to the elevator. Even with the electricity gun it is still almost impossible. Any tips would be glorious. Seriously guys, elite is craaaaaaazzzzyy. It makes me want to break things. >:(
 
There's only one piece of advice you need, and that's to NEVER YIELD!!!!! Seriously, with all games, the hardest difficulty will challenge players to learn to take the advantage on their opponents with whatever weapons, abilities and the environment.

... then find out that you just died and suddenly you need to do it all over again, but the chances are that you will do it probably better!!!

NOW GET OUT THERE AND KILL THOSE HELGHAST, SOLDIER!!!
 
OK, now I'm ready to pwn helghast! But I'm stuck fighting sentry bots. :(. Oh well, I'll beat it eventually. I can't wait until i get to the last level, I've heard its brutally hard on elite.
