Now that kill zone has been released tell what you think of it.

reviews are saying it's not as great as every one thought it would have been :(
 
This is one of those games that I would not pay 50$ for but I'll wait a while and get it used. EGM gives it mediocre/average reviews and I trust them for the most part. I just read a part of the review that said the A.I. is dumb and thats such a big no-no, it's like come on guy's, it's the 20th century!! Ack, oh well, guess it's not the "Halo killer" it was hyped up to be...gotta love hype huh....

is it that bad?

There are some mediocre rated games that I really loved.

if it's like the beta, it has a problem with damage. you shouldn't have to put as much into people as you have to to kill them when hitting the head. it moves alright, but there were some problems, and even i admit it's not a comparison to halo 2 at all. it's just an average shooter
 
Oh, me too BV, Shadowman64, shadowgate64, these were both mediocre games by reviewers standards but I loved them both. The only thing is, this game was hyped as a Halo Killer, and well, if you want a FPS to even compete with Halo you better have some dang smart AI...
 
I generally don't like FPS games on consoles, mainly because you can't aim as fast or precise as you can with a keyboard and mouse on PC. This said, I tried the KillZone demo and found it... strange. I wanted to hate it, but couldn't. It's not good, but not bad either. TimeSplitters 3 on the other hand are superb. I'm actually considering buying it.
