I recently bought a copy of Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars and I believe I should be able to play it high graphics, but I can only manage very low.
I'm playing it on a sony Vaio laptop, PCG-GRT996ZP, it's specs are:
Windows XP 32bit
4 X 800MHz (A total of 3.2 GHz)
1GB RAM (64MB assigned to video card)
Hard Drive: 60Gb + (enough anyway!)
DVD-ROM (i think) 8 speed
and Direct X 9.0
Command and Conquer 3 requires minimum of:
Windows XP
2.0GHz
512MB RAM
6.0GB hard drive space
8 Speed dvd-rom
64mb video card
Direct X 9.0
The cinematics also tend to run audio correctly but video will stutter putting the two out of sync. My video driver is: NVIDIA GeForce FX Go 5600
I believe my laptop should be quite up to the task of playing this game well, and updating laptop drivers is incredibly irritating. I'm not amazingly good with computers but I know my way around one well.
Any help would be VERY MUCH appreciated, a simple step-by-step guide to helping sort the problem would be the best.
