This is the lightenng image (I was talking to Violatd about). the lightening is hand drawn in ... via mouse of course as I cannot draw with my hands LOL.

this is also my 1st attempt EVER of lightening..... Lets just say when I made this... I was just starting graphics editing.... and the noobness was still there. There are many imperfections in the image :( but oh well :D :woot

The scan didn't go through as well :(
and on this project I ran out of time for more of the "thin trace lightening" so basically.... the project was not all the way finished.

I scanned in the mountain range.
I made the lake in Bryce 4. I copied it (very carefully) and formed it to fit the mountains... and there is a different colored lake under it while the top is slightly transparent.

I had to shape a lot of the background to make it it right.... I totally changed the sky :lol

and I made the lightening.

I was not able to ever perfect the image due to time constraints.... you only have so long to do the projects. Still got an A though...

um.... I think this image consists of 100 layers I believe.... and was done in PSP, Corel Draw 9, and Freehand 9... along with Bryce 4.

I love Bryce. And BV...you like Windows??? :? Ever tried Mac. Those new G5's are lookin sweeeeeeeet.

Not a bad pic BV. Though you have to admit not nearly as smooth of texture as a filter provides...in 1/100 of the time it takes. Not at all knocking the work you've done...and as you stated it's incomplete. Me...I took a class in HS at a HS trade center. The only program I learned in school was Pagemaker...like 1.0 or something. I haven't seen anyone turn in artwork with Pagemaker anything on it in the last 5 years. I'll share soon.
