LucasArts exits ESA

Another company pulls out of the ESA, but they will attend E3...

I sense a disturbance in the force...
 
I wonder why LucasArts did? They aren't getting out of gaming all together, so what is the benefit of being with the ESA versus not being a member..?

I highly doubt that. The majority of the industry is still part of the ESA, but three large publishers dropping out is pretty significant. It could eventually mean that the ESA will break apart, but I doubt that will happen for a while, if it even happens.
