Here are some new images of Nintendo and Square Enix's NDS basketball game Mario Hoops 3 on 3, the game will be available in Japan on July 27, 2006, for 4800 yen. Mario Hoops 3 on 3 supports two players WiFi battles, over 16 playable characters from Nintendo and Square Enix's Final Fantasy universe will be available.

That's right...Final Fantasy characters are in the game....along with your favorite mario characters of course..
 
Does anyone know which final fantasy chraracters will be in the game?
 
Wow, I had no idea SE was developing this. :o I going to pick this up when it comes up now. And what might this lead to.....Super Mario RPG 2?   <crosses figners>
 
I think mario hoops is going to look realo good with the graphics. And if is wifi that will be better
