Hi Guys!

I just got in a second ago from "EB Games" where I bought "NHL 2K8".

The dude that worked there,and I got into a conversation about video games of course.I had mentioned to him that the Forum I'm currently in,is a good spot to learn about all kinds of things,not just games.

He said this to me,and I quote:.."I hate forums,all they are is a bunch of sarcastic "Ego-Maniacs" that have nothing else better to do.Personally,I've come to know some of you(or cyber-you) :lol, fairly well,and I disagree.

I had to tell you guys this,before I forgot it.The pills they got me on,can sometimes cause "Memory Loss".

Well to be honest he is pretty much right, it's just that this forum is the exception to that. I can hardly stand most forums, you always have these arm chair experts that think they are so superior to other people for one reason or another. Mostly though, these guys are just sad people who have no lives and they use the internet to actually feel worthy. None of that here, though, just genuinely cool people :)

Ego-Maniacs? Funny, sounds like he's been burned a few times by forums.

Sure I have a terrible ego problem, easily discouraged, and sometimes just downright annoying/weird to most. Yet the truth of the matter is, I'm a Libra. They use a balance scale to describe me, but I'm not. Heck, sans the zodiac I'm the kind of person you'd hate or love the first day or so.

I can't change the way people think of me, I will apologize to all of them, and yet they still don't want to listen. Do I care? Yes I do. Why? Because I'm a sensitive person. All I care about is making people happy and rather have them know it.

If it's one thing that makes me happy, is knowing someone else is gonna make it better than I. I failed so many people in my lifetime, made too many enemies, and all because of my stupid ego. Sometimes, I like to keep my mouth shut, because I know it will get me in trouble.

People have ignored me for so many years in real life, that I just tend to be a loner. Most people don't even think I'm humorous and I get discouraged when I'm not part of the group. So I easily feel left out or alone. One of my dreams was to become popular when I was a kid...it never really happened...and it still hasn't happen.

I move on....that's all I can do...I want to change for everyone, because after making the world resist me, it makes me wonder why I keep screwing up so much.
 
Well Mega, I would never lump you in the with the people I mentioned earlier. I never see you talk down to people or come off like you are above them. That is the kind of behavior I see at a lot of other forums. Everybody has an ego to some degree, but I think there is a big difference between having an ego and being straight up arrogant.
 
Well we do have some losers on this board mainly me I'm unemployed and I had to move back in with my parents and I'm almost 30 man my life is sad and really rather depressing. :'(

And that makes you a loser how? Seriously man, in these times, there's nothing uncommon about your situation. I'm 26 and still live with Mum, no big deal really. You'd have to be doing a lot worse things than that to be a loser, IMO.
 
I would respond to this, but I'm too busy being better than everyone else to bother ;)

Just kidding! Most forums are full of "Richards" but this one is the exception.
