Here are some new images of Konami's Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence for PS2. The game will have an online multiplayer mode, which supports up to 8 players. Five play modes are available, including deathmatch, team deathmatch, sneaking mission, capture mission and rescue mission. There will be a number of original levels not found in MGS3. In the single player mode, there is a new third person view camera, which offers a wider vision and higher degree of freedom. After completed the game once, there will be a new Duel Mode for you to battle with the bosses directly. -MagicBox

Omg! Metal Gear is finally going online! 8 players online and new levels not found in MGS3! I just hope that it wont be laggy due to so many people into the Metal Gear seris, I know for a fact that servers are going to be jam-packed everyday and every hour with people playing! New camera view as well! Grr..Im going to be on this game like white on rice until its released, in fact its going to be released later this year! Im so excited right now about the online mode the most. This is going to overtake Splinter Cell no doubt! Konami is just.. :D :lol

Thoughts about this? Post up!

I agree with Creepin'. Besides, don't online games make people crazy and junk?? ::D
I dont know what online game makes people crazy or what game your talking about.

Online games to me is like another difficulty level, you play against other actual people across the world other than your crappy A.I. that you've grew to master within a couple months of gameplay. That's how I see online gamming is to me, just another difficulty.

Splinter Cell is easily the best trilogy of games I have ever played. As a matter of fact, i'll say that it is the best STEALTH ACTION GAMING SERIES EVER MADE BY MANKIND!

Yes, I am serious. Yes, I have played them all.

I think you say that because you can actually move around and actually do actual stealth moves. Let alone that the graphics are outstanding..but the Metal Gear seris storyline is just amazing and addictive.

The story is good, on par with a REALLY good movie. But the realism is all out of whack, which I don't like. Don't get me wrong, I love the games, but they are just inferior. I mean, I can understand not being able to fight off 3-4 guards when surrounded...but if the same person can take on a 50 foot tall robot and kill it without even getting hit...or absolutely psychotic bosses who can fly, roller skate, read your mind, etc. But God forbid you engage one guy with an rifle...

Splinter Cell has a good plot, albeit it isn't continuous between the games. It is just another kind of story. If you like Tom Clancy books, you will likely understand and like the story better.

Alos, like you said, Splinter Cell is alot more stealth based than MGS (which is kind of a big deal since both are advertised as stealth games)

Bman, I was joking around and making reference to the whole Korean "I-dropped-dead-because-I-played-videogames-for-way-too-long" epidemic. So no specific game was targeted on my part.
