I voted in all of those awards, lol, in fact in all categories that had MGS4 I voted for it. I cant wait to get my BADGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A shame Pure didnt win an award.

It seems like the juggernauts so far this year have been GTAIV and MGS4, and for good reason. LBP was favored in Edge, which is also good, and Fallout 3 has dominated categories in which each of those games have been considered. Mirror's Edge was a runner-up for nearly everything on IGN's awards, and Gears of War 2 managed to snag a couple important categories (such as GotY) from Spike. Likewise, Xplay tipped its hat to Fable 2 giving it GotY.

So all in all it seems that the sheer amount of quality titles out there is staggering, and this is reflected in the diversity of winners for each category across different institutions and consoles. Very interesting.

Nintendo seems to be left in dust, only winning in I think a few categories with its own Super Smash Bros Brawl and perhaps Professor Layton received commendation from X-Play I think.

EA is doing good by keeping Mirror's Edge going, if they can release it next year and keep its production values up, while offering double the play length time and offering some multiplayer, then it could very well stand a chance at being a Landmark title of next year.
