"METAL SLUG collection" & GAMECUBE [petition added]

We, myself and numerous METAL SLUG/GAMECUBE fans, are not throwing in the towel so easily... "SNK NEOGEO" made "METAL SLUG" games for the PS2, XBOX, & soon to be a special GBA version, now we NEED to let "SNK NEOGEO" know it's the GAMECUBE's turn!

Now if you don't know what the heck "METAL SLUG" is, it's the best 2D shooter on the market. "METAL SLUG" is similar to "Contra" only 10x BETTER than "Contra", with hand drawn backgrounds and details. It truly is 2D perfected. The most addicting 2D shooter ever!

Now rumors went around stating "SNK NEOGEO" doesn't want to support a "dying" system (referring to GAMECUBE). We ask then, why is "SNK NEOGEO" releasing "METAL SLUG" ports to the other two "dying" systems (because XBOX and PS2 aren't going to last any longer than GAMECUBE is).

We figure if "SNK NEOGEO" wants to support Nintendo's next system, perfect, but do it with Atomiswave ports. As far as NEO-GEO ports though, "SNK NEOGEO" & "Nintendo Of America" should do us GAMECUBE fans a generous favor and at least work out a way to release a "METAL SLUG collection" game and some NEO-GEO fighter ports (Samurai Shodown) to our GAMECUBE. We believe that if there's more people than just a hand full of people that want to see these ports make it to the GAMECUBE it can and will happen.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

With some catchy artwork and a nice little section about "METAL SLUG" and its history and collector's value of the originals (originals valued at up to $3000!!!), along with "SNK's" history with "Nintendo" featured in "Nintendo Power Magazine", We know at least 50,000 copies of a "METAL SLUG collection" game would sell easily. We don't see what the problem would be at all doing something like this. It could easily happen.

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO WRITE "SNK NEOGEO" A SHORT EMAIL!!!

I am support this idea as well.

I have posted up support at a few places.... and I have talked with these people (at the company) directly.... and it seems that their ideals toward the cube are starting to losen... and they are starting to see the gamecube as a possibility.

IF you want to see these games on the Gamecube (as many people do) write to these people "NICELY"

Just put in your vote of support that you would like to see (and would buy) the metal slug collection for the gamecube :)

Its a worthy cause... and if you want to.. do it!

No, no, no, my friend. We need to email "SNK NEOGEO" and ask them to port the game to the GAMECUBE. Actually, "Metal Slug Advance" is a completely new Metal Slug game but that is for the GBA. What we want is a perfect port of the Arcade Original "METAL SLUGS". Currently the only "METAL SLUG" games ported are for the PS2 and XBOX. So please let "SNK NEOGEO" know that,

"A Metal Slug collection's game would be a perfect addition to the GAMECUBE library!!!" :woot

Sorry for any inconvenience.

This new site is more secure. Some of us were surprised to see people actually cared enough about the petition to try to make bogus, insulting signatures. The new site is more secure. We can delete any signatures with ease and the signer can feel more confident that they're signature will only by seen by the petition authors and SNK/Ignition when we send it to them.

There's a forum attached to the petition and we'll will be keeping a "signature count" there. Posting the current count once a week.

Well, there was 100 before. Now there is just 10 so far. It's only been less than one day though. We figured to change the petition to a better site before too many sign people it.

Thanks for the complements folks, but I was only talented enough to realize my good friend "galfordo" should write it. So thanks, "galfordo", wherever you are!  :D
 
have you reposted the new thread in all old posts?

and do people realize that they need to resign them?

man..... you definitely need a lot more.

maybe they do not like the fact they cannot see how many sigs are there......maybe you are right.
