Good Morning,Afternoon,night,

Do the PS3 discs hold more data than the PS2,thus making for longer RPG'S and such?

Yes they do hold more data and theoretically yes you can make longer RPG's. It's up to the developers how long an RPG will last. It's possible that developers would opt out on making a longer RPG in order to use the extra space for better graphics or better compressed FMVs, for example.

The single-layer form of the PS3's discs alone is 555% more than your standard PS2's disc... and the dual-layer doubles that to 1110% the size. (If my math is correct... I'm tired, so don't mock me :lol)

Definitely more room.

Of course it does. The PS2 was the weakest console last gen, and now the PS3 is the strongest.

Isn't Blu-ray like...28 times the size of a DVD?

PS3 games can be longer, but from what I have seen, they are opting to use the extra space right now for better quality instead (see the extremely short but high quality Heavenly Sword). Not necessarily a bad thing. And once the developers get more used to the PS3 hardware, I'm sure that the games will get longer while still maintaining the high quality.
