Ken Kutaragi also mentioned PlayStation 3 will be able to download and playback classic 16-bit Mega Drive (Genesis) and PC-Engine (Turbografx) titles, it is also possible to play a small fee to play certain time-limited game demos.

Not to mention the thing has linux on it so you can cross compile mame for PPC and away you go. ;-)

I personally agree... but unfortunately (just by looking at the success of roms and emus).... most people don't agree.
