Im just wondering on who actully uses this browser? I think its crappy, I tried it the other week and it felt just like Netscape with a different name on it. i quickly uninstalled it after like 30 minutes of use. Btw, some web sites it made the page all huge and I had to scroll all over the place like crazy! I dont know if I didn't something wrong or I needed to configure something. If you use this browser, explain why you like it or dislike it like me. IMO (in my opinon)
 
I don't use Mozilla Firefox, however, the number 1 reason to use it is that it is WAY MORE SECURE than Internet Explorer. It doesn't have nearly as many vulnerabilities and does have much better pop-up control than IE does.

I'm too lazy to try it out thus far.

I know that it has a good security, but is that the only reason why people use it? I rarely get pop-ups anyways on my IE.
 
Another reason is all the plugins, I think it has around 200 you can get, and it seems to be a lot more customizable

I dunno how you got the huge text though, that's never happened to me before. I really love it, haven't opened IE since I switched.
 
No the text isn't huge, its like the words on the page are all spread out, like it has 4 spacebar spaces in between each word. :-\

Im not really into customizing browers, but I might give Mozilla another chance though.
 
I love my Firefox. It is just like any other browser if you make it like that, but it can become so much more. Royce, check out the themes and ex. to pump it up.
 
On my computer It justs loads the pages quicker, and since its open source you can customize it. And like everybody else said, its much more secure. "One" of the reasons why Firefox seems glitchy is because the web sites themselves are configured for Internet Explorer since it's more popular.
 
I have used firefox for a very long time now...

It super-secure, totally customizable, and alot faster for me.

I uninstalled pretty much every microsoft program I could get away with not having forever ago. I hate the way their stuff is unstable and un-secure.
 
I see, well I guess I think I'll give Mozilla another try, I'll test it out for like a week and make my decision.

Im using it now, not liking it so much though, but I'll continue to use it to compare with IE.
 
You can try Opera if you want something other than IE or Mozilla. I heard it was pretty good also. I havent tried it but maybe somebody on this board has.

Opera? Naw I dont think I've ever used that. Im going to see if there's some screens of "Opera" and read some info on it.

Im kinda' of digging this Mozilla, I like the tabbed browsing alot! Saves me alot of room on my taskbar. ;)

That's exactly how I was, the first time I tried it I hated it and uninstalled it after a day. Then around a few months later I needed something to tabbed my browsing and started loving it after I got used to it.
 
Yeah Im totally liking this tabbed browsing alot! Im not sure about the whole downloading thing on Mozilla, I mean when I download there's this little menu that comes up and tells me what I've downloaded and etc. I find the unsmooth scrolling faster than the smoothed scrolling. Btw, any good extensions and plugins that I need for Mozilla? I mean the important ones.

Opera looks like another Mozilla to me, just with another name. I'm not even going to bother with even downloading that.
 
I like the weather one, it puts the weather info from weather.com in the bottom right bar, I have a media player down right next to that. It has one that can translate pages into a lot of different languages

There's a lot of good ones, just go to their extension page and browse through them

Cool, I might be interest in the different languages extension. Im not into the weather and I've seen the media player one.

Cool, but I mainly use the keyboard are all of that though, so I dont know if that'll be a use for me.
