I don't know how true it is.. but I have been hearing that they are collecting info from you. But I have not heard anything BUT beyond users.
IE no case studies....

I'm looking in my g-mail messages right now, and certain key words; shipping, credit, shopping, will que small paragraph style ads on the side.

It's not taking any personal information from what I've seen though.

hm....  well.. there were some reported problems with this I guess.

gmail has very small text only ads with relevant key words. Its not a big deal at all...as a matter of a fact I never noticed them until now heh.

gmail is nothing but amazing imho. You should try it out BV.
