I can't believe how fast he finished it.
He has a job,so he played it a couple few hours every other day or so.

Is that a bad thing, though? I don't really judge a game based on length anymore. Some of the better games out there can be finished in 6 hours or less {Silent Hill, most Resident Evil's, MGS2, Panzer Dragon Orta, Morrowind, etc...}.

It was very short I will admit, I finished it within 2 days. Yet I still had a great feeling of accomplishment.

What sucks,is that he paid $69.99 for it.He had to work quite a few hours to get enough scratch to buy it. ::D

Yea, that does suck. That reminds me of a discussion brought a while ago about how maybe games should be priced by length. So for example, a game that was only about 6-10 hours would cheaper than a game that is 50+ hours. But does Ghostbusters have any replay value? Most shorter games do, which makes them more worthy of the price.

the thing is that sometimes those 6-10 hours can be worth a lot more than a 50 hour game, and since there is not a set way to define the quality of a game, they all are priced pretty much the same, it is the buyer's choice whether he wants to pay 60 bucks for a 6-10 hour game or not....

most people don't really care and quite honestly i am with those people since to me the value of a game it's not how long it is, just how much fun i get from it, and like i said i love my 100 hour Final Fantasy games as much as my 10 hour Phoenix wright games

Yep I with ya Zi! I'll gladly pay $50 for games in the caliber of SH, MGS2, RE2, etc. Some of the better memories I have are with shorter games. If I remember right most people in the discussion shared the same feelings as you and I, as well.

Quality over quantity for sure, but the greatest games provide both. Oblivion is a good single player only example, and games like Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 both back up solid 10 hours campaigns with endless fun in multiplayer.
