Myst: Masterpiece Edition

My brother gave me a *cough*burnedcopy*cough* of Myst: Masterpiece Edition a couple years back. As soon as I started playing it, I fell in love with the game, its characters, and the story. I love the whole fantasy travel-through-a-book thing. I love all types of fantasies. I remember the first time I played it I was about 12, and I was terrified of the insane brother, which sadly I can't remember the name of right at this moment.

Right now I'm looking for the CD 'cause I feel like playing it again...but I can't find it. :'( Too...many....games....so much to sort through....

But anywhos. How many of you have played that game, did you like it or not, and what was your favorite era? Mine was Channelwood.

I remember this game! I believe it was the first I ever played, barring Doom 2 and Duke Nukem.

It is a adventure/puzzle game of sorts, is it not?

Yeppers. Basically a point-and-click type scenario. I still haven't found the CD....but I found a whole bunch of others that I thought were lost! :lol I have too much stuff...

I'm trying to find the game so I can remember what the brother's name was...I remember the one was Sirus, or something like that...his brother's name started an A, that much I can remember.

I have the second one for the PSX, known as Riven. Probably ten times harder than the original, but I've managed through it, only having to cheat on two puzzles, because I suck at sounds and the giant topograph.
