actually.... I called... they are all out of stock of every game.

BV, my sources tell me the sell was actually supposed to start July 11th and that there's a good chance they will get more of the $5 games.
 
I called up to our surrounding stores.

They told me all of them are sold out, AND that near all the other stores are as well.

I am just going by the phone conversation with one of the managers.

Yeah, all the stores around here are sold out too. You know a lot of people went in and bought multiple copies of the same game. I expect we'll see a bunch of the titles on ebay. :-\ I was really hoping just to pick up Disgaea for $5 but it's not like it's not worth full price. I'll just have to cave in and buy it for $50, I guess.

You missed mine on my website used for $30 shipped.

It sold a little bit back.. only lasted online.... 2 hours :lol

but honestly.... someone had to have inside information to get the games as quick as they did. and you know the people that were surprised by the low price went back and filled up a cart load.

It happens a lot like that.

If you remember, FAO Schwarz (spelling?) the huge toy store was blowing out Gamecubes online...... that lasted 20 minutes I believe.

Yeah, there was. I am not sure if BV edited because it was not the Game Addiction Shop :p or because he called and the store was already out. Maybe he figured, why let you guys drool over all the $5 games when the likelihood that the store would still have them would be so little? You'd have to ask BV. ;) Or PM me. Whichever works for you. :lol
 
I called them.... and found out basically everything is gone so it doesn't really matter anyway :)

and yes, there is a rule of no selling or advertising on the boards here, and the rule extends to everyone with selling/ sales advertising.....
Instead of making stupid individual rules to keep people from selling or advertising sales on the board (IE allowing some, not allowing others) I canned it all....   and most of it arises from not wanting responsibility for bad deals.   

and from now on, I expect this rule to be followed by all, or a warning will be given... then bannage.

regardless of who the seller is, store..etc... The only business allowed advertising here is Game Addiction.
