Neo Geo CD Neo CD frontloader

honestly... I haven't heard of the Front Loader (or any Neo CD System) eating discs.

I wonder if the grinding is coming from the spindle. Did any of your CD's come out scratched at all before?

it could be the spindle, i'm not sure how to diagnose the problem. right now i only have one neo geo disc and it looks like this:

do you notice the rings? i didnt know if that was normal or not or if the frontloader might have done something.

You know... if it's going to die, it will die. You might as well get it over with :lol Even though I know it sucks when they stop working...

I wonder how Rainman fixed his.

BV :hat

you are right. if it's going to die, it's going to happen regardless and i might as well play the heck out of it and get my money's worth :). but it doesnt make it any easier because like anything else, sometimes you wish it could just last forever. i've opened my system before but i had no idea what i was doing or what i should be looking for, so i just basically looked inside :lol. i tried to remove the metal plate covering but it wasnt coming off easy so i gave up.
